Beschreibung
The present dissertation gives a detailed insight in the problematic of wildland fires in northeast Mexico. The main emphasis was put on the reconstruction of forest fire history, the observation and documentation of forest succession after fire events by chronological community ordination as well as the investigation of factors responsible for differences in population composition and forest structure. The use of the constrained correspondence analysis for explaining species abundance and composition has been proved to be a valuable technique.
